She is a total love-bug!!!!

We adopted Oprah – now Oakley, on Saturday. I was going to send you a text, but I have so much to say, I thought this would be easier and better. 🙂
I don’t know where to start……it’s been a little more than 48 hours, and she just keeps amazing us. Her personality is like nothing I’ve ever seen before. She’s confident. She’s loving. She’s gentle. She’s content with every situation. She’s SMART! Her ability to adapt to her life’s dramatic change is so impressive!!! She’s sleeping through the night. Not one accident in the house. She loooooves our yorkie – he’s still trying to figure her out. But way more accepting than I expected. To say we’re happy would be a huge understatement.
I’ve had my share of pups (I’m 68, we’ve had everything from itty-bitty yorkies to 120lb great dane) but neverrrrrrr one like this! If I were 20 years younger, I’d have 10 more. lol. I/we couldn’t be more happy with her!!!!!!!
So you have an idea of where this precious little nugget will be living her best life – my husband and I are retired, home ALL DAY!!! We have (inside) a Yorkie and a Hahn’s macaw parrot. Outside, we have 2 horses (a full-size mare and a pony as her companion), 1 goat, and 9 chickens. We’re on 3 acres of completely fenced property. As well as smaller sections of fenced sections for confinement.
